Hand punch terminals do not store images of your employees´ hands, nor can they use any stored information to create images of employees´ hands. Instead, they use a sophisticated algorithm to generate and store a numerical template.
Each time an employee scans his hand, a new number is generated and compared to the one on file.
The clock in/out transaction will occur in less than a second, but only if the generated number and stored template match closely.
The HandPunch 2000E have two user-definable data management keys that let you collect data as employees punch. Common uses include department transfers, tips collected, job codes, or pay codes. Multi-level data entry sequences may be defined. You can also set the data management keys to allow employees to review their past punches. To reduce keystrokes, the keys can also be set to automatically enter data such as a frequently used department number or in/out status.
The HandPunch 2000E connects quickly to the time and attendance PC via Ethernet 10 Base-T (TCP/IP). An optional dial-up high speed modem is available for remote sites.
